Lady of Screens

Based on my AU. You can find it here: with a couple differences.

The pressure of living up to your expectations as a Darkner and your identity clashing with your prophecy.

Warning: Tenna's pronouns may get confusing as he changes between them.

Ever since Ant Tenna gained sentience, he learnt about the prophecy. The only TV that existed in the Dark World,
the part about the Lord of Screens must be about him.

But, there's one problem: Tenna had never been a man. She's a female TV. She knows in her heart that's
what she is. The only feminine thing about her would be her voice. Well, her name was Ann Tenna, but
people misunderstood and called her Ant Tenna. The name grew on her overtime.

Everyone around her believed she's the Lord of Screens, so she decided to keep up the illusion.
She'll step down when the real Lord of Screen arrives.

They call him Mr. Ant Tenna, never mocking his high-pitched voice. He didn't mind most times
when being addressed as mister. Everyone respected him. Awed of him. Want to be him.

She'll keep the illusion up for longer. Doesn't want to disappoint the audience, crew or Lightners.

She wants to be seen.

He couldn't let go of his identity.

"No, no. Please stop leaving. Where is everyone?" her voice echoed.

The knight cleaved her as if she's the one and true Lord of Screens. She would've laughed if she wasn't scared.

"Please don't throw me away. Please, don't," her voice echoed.
Toriel didn't hear. No one could.

Ant Tenna hated feeling so helpless in the Light world.

"Kris. Susie. You promised," her voice echoed.

Her voice echoed as she felt Tori carry her somewhere.

"How did I not notice how badly damaged the TV was? Did it have a bad fall?"
the motherly Dreemurr whispered, "It's beyond saving,"

"No, no! Please, don't," Tenna wished her voice could be heard as Toriel
placed her next to the garbage bin outside, "I'll be good. I'll be good. Please!"

When Susie and Kris arrived at the Dreemurr home, they realized they were too late.

Tenna was nowhere to be found.

They searched everywhere to find someone to save him, but no one wanted to.
They couldn't even find him in the Dark World either.

The End.
